The Easter Part 1 update dropped on March 28, 2026, bringing a limited-time egg hunt to 99 Nights in the Forest. There are 11 unique Easter Eggs scattered across the map, and collecting them earns event currency to unlock permanent rewards. Here’s everything you need to know to find them all before the event ends on April 4, 2026.
| Key Info | Details |
|---|---|
| Total Eggs | 11 |
| Event Duration | March 28 – April 4, 2026 |
| Basket Capacity | 12 eggs at a time |
| First Submission Reward | 10 event points per new egg type |
| Duplicate Submission | 1 point (2 with Egg Hunter class) |
Before hunting, grab the Egg Basket from the table near the Easter Bunny statue at your campsite event area. Without it, collected eggs won’t register. The basket works like your item pouch and holds up to 12 eggs at once. After collecting, return to the giant Easter Bunny statue to submit them for event points (called “Eggs” currency).
Most eggs aren’t simple pickups, they require solving small puzzles or triggering specific events. If the Easter Bunny says “Egg isn’t ready,” you need to complete that egg’s activation task first.

| Egg | Location | How to Activate |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Egg | Spawns randomly across the map | Grab it fast — it rolls away when you approach |
| Basketball Egg | Basketball court | Pick it up and score a basket through the hoop |
| Chick Egg | Roof of the barn | Tame 6 baby chicks and lead them into the barn’s nests |
| Lightning Egg | Found under red umbrellas | Place it on the ground and let lightning strike it |
| Cooked Egg | Your base | Build a Crock Pot and cook 3 Basic Eggs in it |
| Glowing (Ice) Egg | Inside the polar bear’s cave (snow biome) | Take the frozen egg and melt it on a campfire |
| Volcanic Egg | Volcanic Biome | Defeat 8 Cultists wearing bunny ears and sacrifice them inside the Volcano |
| Pelt Trader Egg | Pelt Trader NPC (random spawn) | Kill wolves until one drops an Easter Pelt, then trade it |
| Frog (Virus) Egg | Frog Cave | Trigger Frog Invasion, collect Frog Keys, and defeat the Frog King |
| Alien Egg | UFO/Mothership | Trigger Alien Invasion, complete the mothership, scan an Easter Alien |
| Fish Egg | Any fishing pond | Buy a Fishing Rod and fish at ponds until one appears |
Submit eggs to the Easter Bunny to earn event currency, then spend it at the Easter Event Shop near your campsite. Rewards include:
Since rewards are permanent, focus on collecting as many unique egg types first (10 points each), then farm Basic Eggs for bonus points. Check out our 99 Nights in the Forest Codes for free Diamonds to supplement your event haul, and our 99 Nights in the Forest Tier List to pick the best class before diving into the hunt.
There are currently 11 Easter Eggs in the Easter Part 1 update, each tied to a unique location, event, or puzzle.
Yes, you must equip the Egg Basket from the event hub near your campsite. Eggs won’t register in your inventory without it.
Bring them to the giant Easter Bunny statue in the event area to exchange them for event currency, which you spend at the Easter Event Shop.
The Easter Part 1 event runs until April 4, 2026 at 4:00 AM EST. An Easter Part 2 update is expected the following week with additional content.
The Egg Hunter is a seasonal class available during the Easter event that doubles your points for duplicate egg submissions (2 points instead of 1), making Basic Egg farming much more efficient.
