Picking the wrong blessing in Broken Blade can cripple your damage output for hours of grinding. Blessings are passive Norse mythology-inspired buffs unlocked at level 1,000, and getting the right one is the difference between melting bosses and hitting a progression wall. Here’s every blessing ranked so you know exactly what to reroll for.
| Tier | Blessings | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| SS | Odin, Jormungandr | Mythical |
| S | Hel, Surtr, Fenrir, Thor, Tyr | Mythical/Legendary |
| A | Loki, Heimdall, Freyr | Legendary |
| B | Baldr, Eir, Njord, Freyja | Legendary/Epic |
| C | Einherjar, Valkyrie, Vali, Vidar | Rare/Epic |
| D | Light, Dark | Common/Uncommon |
You need a Blessing Reroll Item and must be level 1,000+. Farm the Gelaros Boss for reroll drops. There are 21 total blessings across 6 rarities Mythical sits at a brutal 0.0085% drop rate, so patience (and lots of boss kills) is required.
These are the absolute best if you roll either of these, keep them.
Odin (Mythical – 0.0085%)
Odin is the single strongest blessing in the game. The 200% damage boost dominates every scenario Boss Rush, mob clearing, or endgame content. Pair it with Aesir race and Thunder element for a build that melts anything.
Jormungandr (Mythical – 0.0085%)
Jormungandr trades a little raw damage versus Odin for a 10% damage reduction, making it the superior survivability pick while still dealing enormous damage. Great if you’re pushing hard content without top-tier gear.
Strong alternatives you should happily keep while hunting SS tier.
Hel (Mythical – 0.0085%)
Hel’s 60% heal bonus is unique it makes her the best blessing for solo boss farming and sustained fights where you’d otherwise need food or breaks.
Surtr (Mythical – 0.0085%)
The go-to if you main Buster weapons. The energy recovery bonus is a quality-of-life upgrade that compounds over long sessions.
Fenrir (Mythical – 0.0085%)
Lower raw damage, but that 8% life steal makes Fenrir nearly self-sufficient in combat. Best paired with Buster builds that stack crit.
Thor (Legendary – 0.0085%)
Best accessible Legendary for Buster users. Since Mythical blessings are brutally rare, Thor is the realistic endgame target for most players.
Tyr (Legendary – 0.2127%)
More common than the other S-tier options and still packs good sustain. A solid keeper until you hit Mythical.
Solid picks that support specific builds well.
Loki (Legendary – 0.2127%)
The best blessing for Katana speed builds. Katana + Vanir race + Wind element + Loki is a proven fast-farming combo that shines for mob clearing and XP grinding.
Heimdall (Legendary – 0.2127%)
Well-rounded crit-building option. Works across all weapon types and pairs cleanly with Aesir race for stacking crit multipliers.
Freyr (Legendary)
| Blessing | Tier | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Baldr, Eir, Njord, Freyja | B | Good damage or utility but outclassed at endgame |
| Einherjar, Valkyrie, Vali, Vidar | C | Situational fine early, replace ASAP |
| Light, Dark | D | Minimal stats, common drops reroll immediately |
| Build Goal | Blessing | Race | Element |
|---|---|---|---|
| Max DPS (endgame) | Odin | Aesir | Thunder |
| Buster main | Surtr / Fenrir | Nether | Thunder |
| Speed farming | Loki | Vanir | Wind |
| Survivability | Jormungandr / Hel | Aesir | Fire |
Odin is the strongest blessing with +200% Damage, +75% Crit Damage, and +12% Attack Speed. It’s Mythical rarity at a 0.0085% drop rate.
You must be level 1,000 or higher to use a Blessing Reroll Item. Race and Element rerolls unlock earlier at level 500.
Farm the Gelaros Boss. You can also trade Blessing Reroll Items with other players if you find a willing trader in the community.
Odin wins on pure damage (+200% vs +175%), but Jormungandr’s +10% Damage Reduction makes it better for survivability. Keep whichever you roll first both are excellent.
Keep Thor or Tyr while farming for Mythical. Reroll immediately from anything B-tier or below.
