Cursed, Viking, Superior, and Ghost sit at the top of the Roll Anime to Fight traits tier list, but their roll odds are brutal. Here’s every trait ranked so you stop burning Trait Shards on the wrong picks.
| Tier | Traits |
|---|---|
| S | Cursed, Viking, Superior, Ghost |
| A | Reaper, Cloner, Entrepreneur, Lethal, Juggernaut |
| B | Royal, Deadeye, Powerful |
| C | Rush, Deadly, Sharp, Swift, Strong |
Traits are permanent stat bonuses attached to a single anime unit, affecting damage, health, crit chance, crit damage, attack speed, and Gold income. There are 17-18 named traits in the game, ranging from common Rare-grade rolls up to God-grade results like Cursed and Viking. Rarer traits generally hit harder, but role fit matters more than rarity alone — a well-matched B-tier trait can outperform a mismatched S-tier one on the wrong unit.
You get traits exclusively from the Trait Machine, and each reroll costs one Trait Shard. Since the top traits roll at extremely low odds, most players will cycle through several tiers before landing an S-tier result on their main unit.
Cursed is the strongest all-around pick, stacking +400% Damage, +200% Health, +65% Cash, +50% Crit Chance, and +100% Crit Damage. It’s the single most valuable trait for both farming and clearing waves.
Viking trades a bit of damage for absurd survivability, offering +750% Health alongside +200% Damage and +150% Crit Damage. It turns any frontline unit into a wall that still deals real damage.
Superior is the safest pick if you’re unsure what a unit needs, with +200% Damage, +100% Health, and +65% Crit Damage in one balanced package.
Ghost resurrects your unit at 80% stats after death, effectively giving it a second life during boss phases or leak-heavy waves.
Reaper (+90% Damage, +45% Crit Damage) leads pure damage builds. Entrepreneur (+65% Money, +45% Damage) is the top farming trait outside of Cursed. Cloner summons two units instead of one, effectively doubling a slot even with modest individual stats. Lethal and Juggernaut round out the tier with strong crit and raw-stat options, though Juggernaut’s attack-speed penalty keeps it a notch below the top picks.
B tier is fine for early progression and hybrid builds. Royal blends +25% Damage with +25% Cash for a farming-combat hybrid, Deadeye offers a heavy +35% Crit Chance and +45% Crit Damage but nothing else, and Powerful gives a modest +20% Damage and +10% Health as a safe early pick. Rerolling out of B tier becomes worthwhile once you have spare shards to burn.
C tier (Rush, Deadly, Sharp, Swift, Strong) touches only one or two stats — a single crit line, a small damage bump, or an attack-speed tweak — and offers little long-term value. Replace these the moment you can afford to, especially on units you plan to keep in your core lineup.
Match the trait to the job a unit is already doing well. A damage carry doesn’t need a farming trait, and a tank that survives every wave doesn’t need Ghost.
Trait Shards come from killing enemies, leveling your Season Pass, and redeeming codes. Since Cursed and Viking reportedly roll at odds as low as 0.02–0.2%, budget your shards instead of chasing a specific trait — the math means hundreds of rolls may still miss.
Cursed, Viking, Superior, and Ghost are the four S-tier traits worth keeping on any unit you plan to use long-term.
Not immediately. B-tier traits carry your team through early waves fine — reroll them once you have shards to spare for better options.
Earn them from defeating enemies, progressing the Season Pass, and redeeming active codes.
No. A rare trait that doesn’t fit a unit’s role is less useful than a common one that does. Match traits to the job first.
