The best abilities in Huss Valley are Emergency Airhorn, Cloak, and Rocket Shoes, which sit in S tier in Beebom’s ranking, with Rufus’s Leash, Pocket Door, and Inflatable Decoy right behind. Abilities are permanent Gem unlocks, and each one is locked to either Runners or Chasers. I ranked all 10 from S to D, so you don’t waste Gems on a dud.
| Tier | Ability | Role |
|---|---|---|
| S | Emergency Airhorn | Runner |
| S | Cloak | Runner |
| S | Rocket Shoes | Chaser |
| A | Rufus’s Leash | Chaser |
| A | Pocket Door | Runner |
| A | Inflatable Decoy | Runner |
| B | Big Dagger | Chaser |
| B | One Hit Shield | Runner |
| C | Bowling Ball | Chaser |
| D | Bear Trap | Chaser |
I judged each ability on how reliably it helps you escape or catch someone, how much skill it demands, and how easily the other side can counter it. Gem cost is a tiebreaker, not the main factor.
| Ability | Gem Cost |
|---|---|
| Pocket Door | 400 |
| Rocket Shoes | 850 |
| Big Dagger | 900 |
| Cloak | 1,000 |
| Emergency Airhorn | 1,000 |
| Rufus’s Leash | 1,200 |
I couldn’t verify the costs for the other four abilities, so I left them out.
Not every guide agrees with this list. TechWiser and some community wikis rank Cloak as the best Runner ability and place Emergency Airhorn lower. hussvalley.top puts Rufus’s Leash in S tier and Rocket Shoes in B tier for Chasers. The Airhorn is better when you’re cornered, while Cloak is better at preventing the chase from reaching that point. My advice is to buy based on the role you play most.
For Runners, Pocket Door at 400 Gems is the cheapest entry and a strong early pick. For Chasers, Rocket Shoes is the cheapest option at 850 Gems. Prices can change, so check the in-game shop first. Runners can also collect Gems from the arena floor, so play Runner rounds if you’re saving up.
Beebom ranks Emergency Airhorn and Cloak as the top Runner abilities and Rocket Shoes as the top Chaser ability. Many wikis pick Cloak as the best overall escape tool.
Spend Gems on permanent unlocks, or buy them with Robux. Runners can also pick up Gems around the arena.
Pocket Door for Runners (400 Gems) or Rocket Shoes for Chasers (850 Gems).
Yes. Beebom lists FIRSTCODEEVER and HUSS4CODE as active (updated Oct 11), and they give Gems, boosts, and cosmetics. Check our Huss Valley codes page for updates.
