Huss Valley Beginner’s Guide (October 2026) Pro Tips to Win

Table Of Contents

Huss Valley is a Roblox tag game where one Chaser hunts a team of Runners across a rectangular arena. Runners win by crossing three times without anyone getting stabbed, while Chasers win by converting everyone. After plenty of rounds, I can tell you movement beats raw speed every time. Here’s the quick version:

How Huss Valley Works?

  • One player is randomly picked as the Chaser. Everyone else is a Runner.
  • Runners must reach the finish line three times as a team.
  • One knife hit downs a Runner and converts them into a Chaser, so the Chaser side grows every round.
  • Both teams earn Gems and Coins based on performance.
  • Some rounds give one Runner a Hero or Chicken prompt. Hero means crossing solo for a bonus reward (risky). Chicken keeps you with the group but skips the bonus. I pick Chicken until my movement is solid.

Movement System Explained

Huss Valley uses acceleration, so you build speed gradually and slide after releasing a key. That makes straight lines easy to read. My go-to combo:

  1. Hold W, then press A or D.
  2. Tap Space for a sideways-forward dash.
  3. Press Alt to stop dead and change direction.

Dashes only go left or right, never forward or back.

Gems, Coins and Codes

Gems come from match rewards and pickups on the arena floor, and they buy permanent abilities. Coins come only from match rewards and buy consumables, with one equipped at a time. Two codes were live as of October 11: FIRSTCODEEVER and HUSS4CODE. Redeem them from the Codes menu for Gem and Coin boosts, and check our Huss Valley codes page for updates.

Best Abilities in Huss Valley

Pocket Door400 GemsRunnerDoor blocks the Chaser for 6 seconds

Rufus’s Leash1,200 GemsChaserPulls a Runner from up to 6 studs away
Big Dagger900 GemsChaserDoubles melee range for 5 seconds

I’d buy Pocket Door first, then save for Cloak as a Runner or Rufus’s Leash as a Chaser. Our Huss Valley tier list covers the full ranking, and all Huss Valley abilities breaks down each one.

Best Tips for Runners

  • Never run in a straight line. Chasers read it instantly.
  • Mix dashes with Alt stops. This is the hardest pattern to predict.
  • Farm Gems early. The first crossing is safest because the Chaser is outnumbered.
  • Stay near the group. More targets means less attention on you.
  • Revive teammates. Press E on a downed Runner before they convert.

Best Tips for Chasers

  • Aim ahead. Runners carry momentum, so hit where they’re going.
  • Target groups. Any hit in a crowd counts.
  • Drop Banana Peels on busy lanes. A trip sets up an easy knife hit.
  • Use Rufus’s Leash to close the gap on good dashers.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sprinting straight for the finish line.
  • Choosing Hero too early.
  • Buying Emergency Airhorn before Cloak or Pocket Door.
  • Ignoring downed teammates.

Heads up: a Halloween event runs October 17 to November 7, so stock up on Gems now.
