Dullahan’s Heirloom is one of the trickier quest items to track down in Roblox Fisch’s FischFright 3 event, yet it’s sitting in plain sight. The Heirloom is a plush cat resting on the bed in the second-floor bedroom of the Haunted Mansion on Caustic Hallow. Accept Dullahan’s quest, climb the stairs, turn right at the top, and press E to pick it up β that’s the entire objective.
I’ve cross-checked every step here against the official 2.06 patch notes and the day-one guides, so you won’t be chasing ghosts. Below you’ll find the exact route to the mansion, the other two objectives Dullahan demands, the Fable Rose reward, and the fixes I use when the cat refuses to show up.

The Heirloom step takes about two minutes once you know the route, and it needs no rods, bait, or levels. Here is exactly how I run it from a fresh spawn:
FischFright 3 takes place on Caustic Hallow, the Halloween event island added in update 2.06. To get there, spawn into Moosewood and look for the Flying Dutchman on the east side of the island. Talk to the Dutchman Captain and he’ll sail you straight to the event hub. One warning from my first visit: the glowing liquid surrounding the island kills you on contact, so stay on the paths while you explore.
Dullahan waits at the haunted mansion on the hill, so follow the road up and press E to talk to him. Accept his quest, and the FischFright 2026: Dullahan entry appears under Major Quests in your Quest Book with three counted objectives. I always grab the quest before wandering off, because the Heirloom can’t be collected until the quest is active on your character.
Enter the mansion and take the stairs to the second floor. At the top, turn right β the left side is just a wall and a closed door β and step into the bedroom with the bed against the far wall. Dullahan’s Heirloom is the plush cat sitting on that bed. The room is dim and the cat is small, so I keep my camera low and sweep it slowly across the mattress until the pickup prompt appears. Rushing past the bed is the most common reason players miss the prompt entirely, and it costs you a second trip up the stairs.
Walk up to the plush cat and press the E Pick Up prompt. The message “You just got a Dullahan’s Heirloom!” confirms the pickup, and your Quest Book counter flips to 1/1. That’s this objective cleared. If you plan to finish the whole quest line, don’t leave the mansion just yet β the six side quests you still need start with the residents waiting on the floors below.
The Heirloom alone doesn’t finish anything. Dullahan wants three things from you before he pays out, and you can complete them in any order:
| Objective | Where | Counter |
|---|---|---|
| Catch and return 1 Dobhar | Frightful Pools | 0/1 |
| Complete all 6 mansion side quests | Haunted Mansion | 0/6 |
| Obtain 1 Dullahan’s Heirloom | Mansion, second-floor bedroom | 0/1 |
Turning in all three rewards the Fable Rose, 3,000 Treats, and 18,000 XP β the pop-up can show a bigger number because bonus XP gets added at hand-in. Two tips from my run: the Dobhar only bites in Frightful Pools, the glowing green event pools announced in Global chat, and your odds improve in the Vile variant, so fish it with your best luck rod and a universal-luck bait. Keep Global unmuted so you catch every “There is a Vile Frightful Pool near⦔ announcement the moment it fires. For the side quests, work through all six mansion residents β Butler Bartholomew, Lady Lenore, Chef Ghoulash, Maid Marrow, Portrait of Percival, and Nanny Nocturne β and remember each one only counts after you return to that resident and close the quest out.
One more heads-up: the later Haunted Cemetery Ritual also asks for a Dobhar in one of its Skeletal Hand slots, so I keep fishing after my first catch instead of stopping at 1/1.
The Fable Rose isn’t a keepsake β it’s one of four Ritual Roses that awaken the Skeleton Hands at the Cemetery altar in Caustic Hallow (around GPS -15104, 146, -9621, right next to Frankenstein). Slot it into Korvath’s Grasp and it feeds the ritual chain that eventually leads to the Dutchman’s Rod, the Omniscient Spinecaster, and the Ghoul Nessie catch. In other words, this plush cat is your ticket to the event’s best rewards.
A Rose sitting in your inventory does nothing, and every ritual costs 100 Treats to start, so stack Treats first β trick-or-treating, selling event fish to the Frightful Merchant, and opening Frightful Caskets all pay out. Redeem the code FischFright2026 while you’re at it for a Jack-o-Statue Lantern, a Doomsekkar Bobber, 2,026 Coins, and 226 free Treats. And if you hunt freebies in other Roblox games, my Kukirin Life codes list is a solid pit stop.
Most Heirloom complaints boil down to one of these:
| Problem | Why It Happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The cat isn’t on the bed | Objective already completed on this account | Check the Quest Book counter β it doesn’t respawn |
| No pickup prompt on the cat | Quest not accepted yet | Talk to Dullahan first, then head back upstairs |
| Pickup fails repeatedly | Server lag or a crowded lobby | Hop to a quieter or private server and retry |
It’s a quest item added in the 2.06 FischFright 3 update β a plush cat that Dullahan lost somewhere in his mansion. You pick it up by hand and hand it back to him as one of three quest objectives.
Either you haven’t accepted Dullahan’s quest yet, or you already collected the Heirloom on this account. The cat only spawns while the objective is active and never returns after pickup, so double-check your Quest Book counter before hunting the bedroom again.
Dullahan stays at the Haunted Mansion on the hill in Caustic Hallow, the event island you reach from the Flying Dutchman docked on Moosewood’s east side.
Completing all three objectives earns the Fable Rose, 3,000 Treats, and 18,000 XP. The Fable Rose awakens Korvath’s Grasp at the Cemetery ritual altar and pushes the event’s rod chain forward.
Yes. FischFright 3 went live on October 17, 2026 with no announced end date, and event quests typically disappear once the event wraps β grab the Heirloom while it’s here.
If you’re grinding through more Roblox events this October, these guides pair well with FischFright 3:
