Starting fresh in Anime Mysterious? I’d pick Naruto, add Sasuke, Tanjiro and Speedwagon, hit level 5 for codes, then chase Broly. Here’s my quick October 2026 day one snapshot:

Pick Naruto as Your Starter

I always take Naruto. His movement speed makes the map and stage-hopping far smoother, and he stays useful later. Once you pick him, check your Diamonds. Around 500 lets you start pulling on the current banner. The wiki lists 50 Gems for a single and 500 for a ten-pull, so confirm the live banner first.

Best Early-Game Characters

Don’t chase a huge collection yet. A cheap, reliable team clears early Story faster.

• Naruto, Sasuke, Tanjiro: a cheap damage trio that carries the first stages.
• Bart: another solid Epic option.
• Speedwagon: generates money. I skip him until the trio stops keeping up.

How to Spend Early Stats?

Gold is tight, so don’t waste it. Raise key stats to about level 10 first, and put Maximum Yen at the top. Broly costs roughly 1,140 Yen to deploy and Gojo about 1,200, so aim for 2,000–3,000 capacity early, then 4,000–5,000 later. Skip Yen generation for now, because Speedwagon covers that. Save your Gold for evolutions.

Which Traits to Reroll First?

Spend early rerolls on Broly, then Gojo, then Sukuna. Even basic HP, speed or damage bonuses help in the early game. Speedwagon and Yuta can wait until your main units have decent traits.

Day One Farming Route

1. Clear Story Mode as far as your team allows.
2. Farm Namek Act 3 (Nightmare) with Naruto. One recorded run took 33 seconds for 14 Gems and 40 coins.
3. Got Broly? Evolve him, then move to Cursed Mall Stage 5 (Nightmare) for roughly 40 Gems, 14 Food and 76 Gold per clear.
4. No Broly? Try the AFK Chamber. One source puts Luke at about a 0.55% rate, and it also drops Gems, Gold and Food.

Give your lineup three jobs: one frontline unit, one support and one damage dealer. If a stage fails, note which role collapsed first and swap only that slot. Also grab cheap gear early. The Itachi Shirt drops from Nightmare Story Stage 5 and adds speed, while Naruto Pants drop from Nightmare Story Stage 3.

• Building every unit at once instead of one core team.
