Anime Galaxies is Roblox’s newest anime tower defense game, and my tier list ranks every launch unit from best to worst. After a dozen hours since early access, the meta is clear: Roger (Pirate King) and Sokonu (King) are the best damage dealers, Spedwag is the farm you can’t skip, and Foji is the only confirmed unit that hits air. Grab codes 1KCCU and RELEASE for 8,000 free Gems before you pull, then use the table below to see where every unit lands.
| Tier | Units |
|---|---|
| S | Roger (Pirate King), Sokonu (King), Ishgo (Perfect Mask), Goju (Six Eyes), Zid (Atomic), Stork (Resurrection), Joren (Unlimited), Spedwag |
| A | Itoshi (Awakened), Megomu (Shadows), Foji |
| B | Gen, Kitzaru, Natzo, Kizua |
| C | Gowko, Itodoki, Hippo, Vegira |
| D | San-G, Zorto, Soskee, Sakoora |
I judge units on five things: raw DPS, wave coverage, support value (buffs, stuns, slows), economy, and how demanding the unit’s positioning is. A Secret can still underperform if its damage needs perfect placement, so condition-heavy kits score lower. Follow-up attacks scale with current damage but don’t count as normal attacks. The game is brand new, so I’ll update this list as evolutions and patches drop.
Roger (Pirate King) (Secret) β A complete damage-and-support package. He stuns for 2.5 seconds every 12 seconds, bypasses shields, and fires a 150% damage splash follow-up every fifth attack. His Captain of the Seas aura grants every unit in his range +10% damage, so cover your whole backline with it (the buff doesn’t stack).
Sokonu (King) (Secret) β The best wave clearer. He Bleeds healthy enemies, gains +30% damage against wounded ones, primes a 200% AoE follow-up every 15 takedowns, and spreads Burn on kills. His Shrine of Calamity Domain deals 50% of his damage every half-second β dense waves make him snowball.
Ishgo (Perfect Mask) (Mythic) β Fills a 15-hit Hollow Gauge, then unleashes eight seconds of Rage with heavy Bleed and 60% follow-ups. Keep him on busy paths so the gauge never empties.
Goju (Six Eyes) (Mythic) β Burns enemies inside the inner 40% of his range and lands an 80% Reversal Burst every fourth attack. Place him at bends where enemies cluster.
Stork (Resurrection) (Mythic) β Soul Wolf follow-ups hit 135% damage while he stands isolated. Spacing is everything; don’t crowd him.
Zid (Atomic) and Joren (Unlimited) (Mythic) β Confirmed meta slots; exact numbers are still being tested.
Spedwag (Epic) β The farm. Every team needs one, and every good team runs it.
Megomu (Shadows) (Mythic) β Applies a 50% Slow, deals a 60% follow-up to slowed enemies, and opens a damage Domain every 30 seconds. Excellent beside other control.
Foji (Legendary) β The only confirmed air-and-ground attacker, with a 60% Slow on top. Don’t sell him after pulling bigger names β flying waves will humble you.
Itoshi (Awakened) (Mythic) β Clearly above the pack; I’m still testing his full kit.
B-Tier Legendaries (Gen, Kitzaru, Natzo, Kizua) are honest placeholders β run whichever fills your damage gap until a Mythic arrives. C-Tier Epics (Gowko, Itodoki, Hippo, Vegira) only matter in the first few waves; replace them the moment you can. D-Tier Rares (San-G, Zorto, Soskee, Sakoora) should be benched or sold on sight. The jump from Rare to Legendary is massive, so push story stages and codes to upgrade fast.
Roger (Pirate King) β stuns, shield bypass and a team-wide +10% damage aura make him the strongest all-rounder. Sokonu (King) is the better pure wave clearer.
Spedwag, and it’s not close. Farms fund every upgrade, so he’s essential in every team comp regardless of the rest of your roster.

No. Anime Galaxies is the rebranded Anime Champions from the Champions TD group β a completely separate game from Anime Galaxy and Anime Galaxy X.
