Where to Find Tormentor in Fisch (November 2026) Complete Guide

Tormentor hides in a blue auditorium inside the Underground Music Venue in Fisch, added with the Venue Encore update (v2.08). I reach him by clicking the Duskwire Rod beside Ken Carson during the Tropical Squall weather event, then equipping the Dusk title before talking to him. That kicks off the Oppressor Rod quest. Here’s the full route.

Where to Find Tormentor in Fisch?

Step-by-Step Route to the Auditorium

1. Head to the Underground Music Venue and find Ken Carson on the stage.
2. Buy a Tropical Squall Totem for 800,000 C$ from Elder Kaido/Elder Kao’s weekly rotating shop on Skycrest.
3. Use the totem from your inventory to spawn the Tropical Squall event.
4. Look to the left of Ken Carson. You’ll see a black guitar: the Duskwire Rod.
5. Click it. You’ll teleport straight into the hidden blue auditorium where Tormentor waits.

I’d skip the totem if the storm is already active naturally. The shop stock rotates weekly, so the totem may not always be there.

How to Get the Dusk Title?

Tormentor won’t talk to you without the Dusk title. To unlock it, I completed the Duskwire mastery quest: Perfect Catch 200 fish using the Duskwire. Another rod won’t count.

The Duskwire is awkward to use. It has negative Control and negative Weight, so pair it with the Invincible or Dune enchantment. Sources disagree on how to get the rod itself, so check the NPC Hollow in-game first.

How to Start the Oppressor Rod Quest?

With Dusk equipped, interact with Tormentor inside the auditorium to begin. Here’s how it plays out:

• He hands you a set of tasks. Finish them and return to him.
• The second quest gives you a few riddles to solve.
• Complete those and you receive the Oppressor Rod in a restricted state.
• Return to Tormentor and pay 70,000,000 C$ to unrestrict it.

That last cost surprised me. Start saving early.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Clicking the Duskwire without Tropical Squall active. The teleport only works during the event.
• Skipping the Dusk title. Tormentor stays silent without it.
• Using the wrong rod for the 200 Perfect Catches. It must be the Duskwire.
• Expecting the totem to always be in stock. Elder Kaido/Elder Kao’s shop rotates weekly.
