Halloween is almost here, and you can still pull off a great Fortnite look. The easiest Fortnite skin Halloween costumes for 2026 are Midas, Skull Trooper, Peely, Siren and Fishstick, because most need clothes you already own or one store-bought outfit. I ranked all 10 from least to most effort, with what to wear, what to buy and which ones work for kids.
| Costume | Effort | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Midas | Easy | Last-minute, men |
| Skull Trooper | Easy | Adults and kids |
| Peely | Easy | Kids, groups |
| Siren | Easy | Last-minute, women |
| Fishstick | Easy | Kids |
| Daigo | Medium | Boys, teens |
| Hope | Medium | Comfort, streetwear fans |
| Helsie Midnight | Medium | Teen girls |
| Jules | Medium | Detail lovers |
| Lexa Hexbringer | Medium | Witch fans |

Midas, the golden-touch boss from Chapter 2 Season 2, is 90% formal wear. You need a white shirt, black vest, black tie, black pants, dress shoes, gold gloves and temporary tattoos. Add a scar over your right eye if you want extra accuracy. No gold gloves? Use skin-safe gold makeup on your hands, and spray a toy pistol or cardboard pickaxe gold.

Skull Trooper debuted in Fortnite’s first Halloween event in October 2017, so it’s the most “Fortnite Halloween” costume possible. Start with a black hoodie and pants, then paint ribs and bones with white fabric paint and a skeleton stencil. Let the paint dry for at least an hour. Finish with skeleton face paint or a skull mask, gloves, boots and a tactical belt. Glow-in-the-dark paint makes it look closer to the in-game glow.

Peely, the walking banana, arrived in Chapter 1 Season 8. The fastest route is a ready-made banana suit, and the official Spirit Halloween versions cost $49.99 for adults and $39.99 for kids. Want something spookier? The skeleton version, Peely Bone, is also in Spirit’s lineup.

Siren needs almost no crafting. Wear a white fitted shirt, black leather jacket, black pants, heels and gloves. The platinum wig is the only thing you may need to buy, since her hair is what people recognize first. Add dark eyeshadow, red lipstick and an eyepatch.

Fishstick is a kid favorite, and the official Spirit kids’ costume costs $39.99. There’s no DIY effort here, so it’s the safest pick for a child who wants a recognizable skin without a long build.

Daigo works if you want something dark but not gory. Wear a gray top, black leather jacket, black jeans and boots. Paint two Oni masks gold and silver, hang them from your belt, and wear a plain white mask on your face. The masks do most of the work.

Hope is the comfiest costume here, so you can sit, dance and eat without fighting a mask. Combine a blue crop top, black leather jacket, black skirt, long socks, blue shoes, fingerless gloves, sunglasses and a blue wig in a half ponytail. Open the skin in your Locker and match the colors of the style you choose.

Helsie Midnight is a gothic-witch look where makeup matters more than crafting. Wear a white mini dress, purple jacket, black tights and loafers, then add a purple witch hat and star-shaped earrings. Blend dark purple and black eyeshadow, since a messy smoky eye still suits the theme.

Jules from Chapter 2 Season 3 has lots of small details, so give yourself extra time. Start with a white crop tank and jeans, paint her logo on the shirt with fabric paint, and add welding gloves and a utility belt with small pouches. Wear two braids with red steampunk goggles on your head, and finish with tattoos or purple body paint.

Lexa Hexbringer is a brown, witchy outfit for fantasy fans. Wear a brown mini dress, cardigan, black tights and heels, with a crossbody bag. The hat takes the longest, so buy a brown witch hat and add small pumpkin accessories and leaves. For kids, swap the heels for flat shoes.
