Abilities and Chakra are the two systems that separate basic fighters from powerful ones in Anime Fighting Simulator. Without them, you’re limited to punch-and-run combat. With them, you get access to ninjutsu, transformations, special attacks, and scale into the game’s most powerful builds. If you’ve been stuck trying to figure out how to unlock these systems, this guide covers everything, Chakra training, ability unlocking, quest requirements, and the training areas you need to hit in 2026.
| System | How to Unlock | How to Train |
|---|---|---|
| Chakra | Complete starter quests, interact with Chakra Tree NPC | Meditate near Chakra training zones |
| Abilities (Powers) | Meet Chakra/stat thresholds + complete quests | Use them in combat repeatedly |

When you first spawn, your priority is completing the starter progression quests. These quests are what gate the Chakra system. You won’t be able to access Chakra training until you’ve completed enough early quests to unlock the stat in your character menu. Check the quest board in your menu (the green person icon β Quests) and complete everything available at spawn.
Once Chakra is unlocked, your first training spot is the Chakra Tree, located on the Starter Island near the Ramen Shop. This is your starting point β you only need 100 Chakra to access it. To start training Chakra, tap the blue flame icon at the bottom of your screen, which causes your character to levitate and begin meditating, passively gaining Chakra every tick.
Chakra has its own chain of training areas, each requiring higher Chakra to unlock but offering significantly better multipliers. Here’s the full Chakra training path:
| Training Area | Requirement | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Chakra Tree | 100 Chakra | Starter Island |
| Library | 10K Chakra | Near the Gym |
| Truth Waterfall | 100K Chakra | Near Excalibur |
| Temple | 1M Chakra | Mountain behind Waterfall |
| Fox Statue | 10M Chakra | Tunnel on adjacent island |
| Sakura Chakra Tree | 100M Chakra | Parkour course, Gym island |
| Sage Platform | 1B Chakra | Near Marine Castle |
| Crystal of Heaven | 100B Chakra | Near Marine Castle |
Always move to the next zone as soon as you meet the requirement β staying in a lower area wastes training time. The early game choke point is the 100K threshold (Truth Waterfall), which tends to take the longest before you can push into the 1M+ zones.
Abilities in Anime Fighting Simulator β called Powers β are unlocked through a combination of Chakra thresholds, stat requirements, and quest completion. You access them through the green person icon β Powers in your menu. Here’s how to unlock them:
Once unlocked, Powers appear in your Powers menu and can be bound to keys for use in combat.
Unlocking a Power is just the start. Every ability has a mastery system β the more you use it during fights and farming, the stronger it becomes. Active usage increases damage output, improves cooldown efficiency, and can unlock secondary effects at higher mastery levels. Don’t sit on abilities unused β slot them into your hotbar and use them during every grind session.
The biggest mistake new players make is ignoring Chakra while grinding Strength. Around mid-game (Hokage tier and beyond), many of the best Powers are Chakra-based jutsu. A pure Strength build hits a wall where half the meta abilities deal no damage because they scale off Chakra, not Strength.
Recommended early game order:
This parallel approach keeps both systems growing without either falling behind.
Tap the blue flame icon at the bottom of your screen. Your character will levitate and begin AFK-style Chakra training. Move to higher Chakra zones as you progress for better multipliers.
Yes β most abilities (Powers) require a minimum Chakra stat before they can be unlocked. Some also need quest completions or boss kills alongside the stat threshold.
You’ll hit a wall in mid-to-late game where Chakra-based Powers deal little to no damage because they haven’t been scaled. Building Chakra early alongside Strength prevents this.
The Chakra Tree on Starter Island β accessible at 100 Chakra. It’s near the Ramen Shop at the shores of the starter island.
