Fischfest 2 just splashed into Fisch on June 20, 2026, turning Moosewood’s shoreline into a full summer carnival. Between farming Sunshells, racing jetskis, and building sandcastles, there’s a lot to juggle in a limited window. Here’s everything you need to start strong and walk away with the best event-exclusive gear before it’s gone.
| Detail | Info |
|---|---|
| Event Started | June 20, 2026 |
| Currency | Sunshells |
| Access Point | Giant purple Clam at Moosewood |
| Minigames | Sandcastle, Jetski Race, Beach Volleyball |
| End Date | TBA |
Head to Moosewood, your starter island, and look for the giant purple Clam near the port. Interact with it to teleport straight to the Fischfest 2 beach, where quests, minigames, and the Sunshell Merchant are waiting.
Sunshells are the event’s core currency, and you’ve got three solid farming routes:
Tropical Sun weather boosts Luck and mutation odds, making the Shoreline far more active — farm hard whenever it triggers, and use a Weather Matrix if you want to force it on demand.

The Sunshell Merchant sets up shop in Coconut Town, past the beach buildings, on the right side of the street. Here’s the full price list:
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Coral Pearl | 300 Sunshells |
| Tropical Conch | 500 Sunshells |
| Sea Star | 1,000 Sunshells |
| Watermelon | 2,000 Sunshells |
| Beach Chair | 3,500 Sunshells |
| Tropical Relic / Paradise Relic / Beached Relic | 5,000 Sunshells each |
| Purple Message in a Bottle | 6,000 Sunshells |
| Creamsicle Rod | 6,500 Sunshells |
| Reef Cutter Boat | 8,500 Sunshells |
| Tropical Sun Totem | 15,000 Sunshells |
Talk to the Sand Castle Referee NPC on the beach’s left side and pay 15 Sunshells to enter. You’ll be shown a design, then get 2 minutes to recreate it. No players around? You can challenge an NPC instead. Winners earn furniture, bobbers, or exclusive titles.
You’ll need your own Jetski plus another player to race — no NPC option here. It’s worth the grind since wins can drop exclusive event rods.
A team effort to keep the ball airborne as long as possible. Requires another player. Rewards include bobbers, furniture, rods, and event titles.
Use a Magic Mirror to teleport back to Moosewood instantly if you’ve bought one from the Traveling Merchant. If not, head to the wooden docks near the Shipwright NPC, then toward the beach campfire — a free Magic Mirror sits in front of the shack there.
Go to Moosewood and interact with the giant purple Clam near the port to teleport to the Fischfest 2 island.
Loop the shoreline for respawning Sunshells, grab Coastal Crates when they spawn, and sell Fischfest event fish to the Merchant.
Only Sandcastle Building allows an NPC opponent. Jetski Race and Beach Volleyball both require another real player.
No official end date has been confirmed yet — treat Sunshells and event gear as limited-time and spend before any announced wrap-up.
Use a Magic Mirror, either purchased from the Traveling Merchant or the free one near the Shipwright’s beach campfire.
