Anime League is Roblox’s first-ever anime FPS, you roll your favorite characters and battle in 1v1 to 4v4 matches using their abilities. Shards and Coins are the two currencies that fuel everything, and everyone wants them for free. Here’s the honest answer first: there are currently no Anime League codes. Developer MATS confirmed on the official Discord that no code redemption system has been built into the game yet. But free Shards are still stackable, here’s how.

No — and fake codes circulating on Discord don’t work either. Since there’s no code entry field in the game, nothing can be redeemed. Some players post strings that look like codes on the community Discord server, but the developers themselves confirmed these are non-functional. Treat any “Anime League code” you see online with skepticism until an official code system is announced.
When a code system does arrive, it will appear as a patch update and be announced first in the Discord announcements channel at discord.com/invite/ALRBLX.

Since codes don’t exist yet, grinding efficiently is the only path to free Shards. Here are every method ranked by return rate:
Winning a match pays out considerably more Shards and Coins than losing. The match MVP earns a bonus on top of the standard win reward. In a 4v4, this means carrying your team has a direct currency payoff — play to win, not just to finish.
Daily quests deliver a better Shard-per-minute return than grinding extra matches. If you’re short on time, skip extra games and prioritize quest completion first. Quest rewards stack with your match earnings, making them the most efficient daily activity in the game.
Logging in every day automatically adds Coins to your account. It takes seconds and compounds over time — don’t skip it even on days you don’t play matches.
The official Anime League Roblox page confirms a bonus Coin reward at 20K likes. Liking the game from your account contributes directly to this milestone. It’s a one-time community reward, but it’s free Coins with zero effort once the threshold is hit.
If you want to skip grinding entirely, the in-game shop accepts Robux for direct Shard purchases. This is the only paid path currently available.
Shards are the premium currency used to roll for characters. The character roster currently includes 7 playable fighters, each with unique weapons, abilities, passives, and streak bonuses. Strong character rolls depend entirely on Shard availability, which is why efficient farming matters so much in the early game.
Coins, meanwhile, cover power-ups, cosmetics, and general upgrades. Both currencies are earned through the same activities, but Shards are the rarer and more sought-after of the two.
When codes eventually launch, they’ll drop through these channels first:

No. Developer MATS confirmed on Discord that no code redemption system has been implemented in Anime League. Any codes listed on third-party sites are not functional.
Win matches (biggest payout), complete daily quests (best efficiency), claim daily login rewards, and like the game to trigger milestone bonuses. These are the only legitimate free shard sources right now.
Shards are the premium currency used to roll for characters. More Shards means more chances at rare and powerful fighters with unique abilities.
Not currently. In a previous game build, a blue barcode icon in the Shop led to a code entry field. That system was removed or disabled. If it returns, it will most likely appear in the Shop or Settings menu.
