Pets are everything in Steal An Egg. You steal eggs from guarded nests, hatch them in your pen, and every pet prints cash per second based on its rarity. With 235 pets across 10 rarity tiers, the best pet right now is the Spirit World Guardian, a Divine fusion pet that generates $26B/s β the highest income in the game.
I’ve cross-checked the latest 2026 values across the community Pet Index, the Steal An Egg Wiki, and post-Halloween patch data to rank every pet from best to worst. Below you’ll find the full tier table, the ten highest earners with exact unlock methods, and the mutation tricks that turn a good pet into a money-printing monster.
I ranked every pet by base income per second at normal size with no mutation, because that’s the only stat the game fixes permanently β your real earnings multiply on top of it through size rolls and color auras. Rarity follows the in-game ladder: Common β Uncommon β Rare β Epic β Legendary β Mythic β Cosmic β Secret β Eternal β Divine. Nests reset every in-game night (roughly every five minutes), so a missed egg is never a long wait. Here’s how every pet shakes out:
| Tier | Income Band | Top Pets |
|---|---|---|
| S Tier | $1B/s+ | Spirit World Guardian, Voidseer Pumpkin, Skeletal Sabertooth, Royal Skywhale, Mecha Scrambler, Bone Emperor, Aetheron, Luminous Cthulhu, ArchAngel, World Burner, Shattered Colossus, Kitsune, Nightflame, Unicorn, Equinox, Pegasus, Skeleton Horse |
| A Tier | $100M/sβ$1B/s | Void Serpent ($900M/s), Gorilla King ($880M/s), Shattered Drake ($800M/s), Oni Tiger ($600M/s), World Eater ($500M/s), Eternal Lunar Dragon ($250M/s), Mutant Shark ($204M/s), Mosasaurus ($180M/s), Shardwing, Stag ($145M/s), El Maja ($130M/s), Lava Dragon ($100M/s) |
| B Tier | $10M/sβ$100M/s | T-Rex, Phoenix ($85M/s), Ice Dragon ($65M/s), Mawbreaker, Cosmic Dragon ($60M/s), Cosmic Skeleton Boss ($45M/s), Tralaledon ($32M/s), Rhinotaur ($17.5M/s), Wendigo, Kraken ($15M/s), Koi ($12M/s), Mantaris ($11M/s) |
| C Tier | $100K/sβ$10M/s | Royal Sphinx ($280K/s), Leviathan ($220K/s), Whale Shark, Cerberus, King Mammoth, Tiger ($28K/s), Spider ($22K/s), Scorpion ($18.5K/s), Shark, Orca, Sabertooth Tiger |
| D Tier | Under $100K/s | Axolotl ($2.8K/s), Brr Brr Patapim ($1.8K/s), Snake, Gorilla, Turtle, Catfish, Raccoon ($45/s), Bear ($240/s), Fox ($180/s), Chicken ($1/s), Dog ($2/s) |
S Tier pets are almost all Divine, and any single one funds endgame pen and Treadmill upgrades on its own. A Tier Eternals are your realistic mid-game targets once you’re raiding the Prehistoric and Cosmic biomes. B Tier Cosmics bridge the long grind, while C and D pets are mainly Index fillers β hatch each once for the cash and Speed rewards, then replace them.
These are the ten highest-income pets in the game right now, with exactly how to get each one:
| Pet | Rarity | Income | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spirit World Guardian | Divine | $26B/s | Two-player fusion at the Enchanted Tree β each player adds 1 Celestial Sunlion + 1 Royal Skywhale |
| Voidseer Pumpkin | Divine | $12.5B/s | Halloween Dimension β Abandoned Manor biome egg |
| Skeletal Sabertooth | Divine | $9B/s | Extinction Egg with Skeletal modifier (1%) β currently unobtainable |
| Royal Skywhale | Divine | $8B/s | Enchanted Forest eggs (needs 50B+ Speed) |
| Mecha Scrambler | Divine | $7.5B/s | Rare drop from the Dr. Scramble boss fight |
| Bone Emperor | Divine | $7.5B/s | Halloween Egg (0.5% hatch chance) |
| Aetheron | Divine | $6.9B/s | Fuse ArchAngel + World Burner at the Secret Shrine (Angels & Demons) |
| Luminous Cthulhu | Divine | $6.5B/s | Cthulhu re-rolled with the Luminous modifier (1%) |
| ArchAngel | Divine | $5B/s | Angels & Demons biome during the Light phase |
| World Burner | Divine | $5B/s | Angels & Demons biome during the Darkness phase |
A few of these deserve extra context. The Spirit World Guardian can’t be stolen β you build it. The Enchanted Tree fusion only fires when two players each place a whale and a lion on the four pads, so team up before you commit your Celestial Sunlion. The Voidseer Pumpkin and Bone Emperor are Halloween exclusives tied to the November event, and once the Halloween Dimension closes they’re gone β the Emperor’s 0.5% odds mean buying egg bundles genuinely improves your shot. Finally, ArchAngel and World Burner are worth farming twice: one pair fuses into Aetheron, the strongest craftable pet outside the Enchanted Forest.
The biggest one is selling duplicate pets for quick cash before checking their weight and aura β a Golden or oversized duplicate often out-earns your current best. I also see players spending robux on mid-tier eggs while ignoring the Treadmill, which locks them out of the high-Speed biomes where Divine eggs actually spawn. And whatever you do, don’t steal without a plan: grabbing an egg you can’t out-carry just feeds it to the nearest rival, so match every raid to your current Speed number first.
The Spirit World Guardian. It generates $26B/s β the highest in the game β and comes from the two-player Enchanted Tree fusion in the Enchanted Forest biome.
Two players each place one Royal Skywhale and one Celestial Sunlion on the Enchanted Tree fusion pads. All four pets are consumed, and the Guardian hatches into your pen.
Six Halloween pets: Bone Emperor (0.5%), Phantom Dragon, Grave Cerberus, Tombstone Bear, Night Fang, and Pumpkin Fiend. The Bone Emperor is the only Divine among them.
Yes. Final income = base income Γ mutation multiplier Γ size multiplier. Mutations like Golden (x2.5) and Rainbow (x3.5) stack with heavy weight rolls, which is why two copies of the same pet can earn wildly different amounts.
There are 235 pets as of the November 2026 Halloween update, spread across 13 biomes plus event eggs, and the count grows with every patch β Update 8 alone added mounts, the Nitro Race event, and five exclusive race pets.
