Mitya is a 5-star Electro Catalyst who launched in Version 7.2 on November 4, and I build him around Elemental Mastery (EM) and CRIT, not ATK. Hold his Elemental Skill to play him on-field; tap it to run him off-field. Below are the weapons, artifacts, stat targets, and teams I’d use, cross-checked across Beebom, GameWith, and others.
| Role | Weapon | Artifacts | Main Stats |
|---|---|---|---|
| On-field DPS | Starsealed Edict | 4pc Gilded Dreams | EM / EM / CRIT |
| Off-field sub-DPS | Starsealed Edict | 4pc Heart of the Furnace | EM / EM / CRIT |
Mitya runs on Beacons, a stack resource capped at four. His Burst creates three instantly, and when teammates trigger Stellar-Conduct, he gains another every 1.5 seconds for three seconds. Each Beacon gives your whole party 30 EM, so four stacks mean 120 EM. Holding Skill places an Overloaded Detection Core, unlocking stamina-free Charged Attacks that consume Beacons. Tapping places a Stable Detection Core that tracks enemies and deals AoE Electro damage while he’s benched.
Starsealed Edict is his signature Catalyst and the clear best pick: 542 base ATK, 88.2% CRIT DMG, and a passive worth up to 60% CRIT DMG and 120 EM at R1. It keeps working while he’s off-field. Skipped his weapon banner? Kagura’s Verity is the strongest premium fallback for raw CRIT DMG.
| Tier | Weapons |
|---|---|
| Best | Starsealed Edict |
| 5-star | Kagura’s Verity, Surf’s Up, Cashflow Supervision, A Thousand Floating Dreams, Wandering Evenstar (off-field) |
| 4-star | Winter’s Heavy Heart, Dawning Frost, Sacrificial Fragments, Clash of Kings |
| F2P | Etherlight Spindlelute (past event), Echoes of the Heart (Snezhnaya forge) |
Beebom ranks Disenchantment in Deep Shadow first, while GameWith favors Gilded Dreams on-field. I pick by role:
| Set | Best For | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Gilded Dreams | On-field | 2pc gives EM; 4pc adds more EM after reactions |
| Heart of the Furnace | Off-field | Boosts team Stellar Glimmer damage |
| Disenchantment in Deep Shadow | Either | +40% Stellar-Conduct DMG, +16% CRIT Rate |
Run EM Sands, EM Goblet, and a CRIT Circlet. Prioritize CRIT, then EM, then Energy Recharge on-field; flip CRIT and EM off-field.
| Stat | On-Field | Off-Field |
|---|---|---|
| Elemental Mastery | 600β800 | 450β550 |
| CRIT Rate | 60β70% | 60β70% |
| CRIT DMG | 155β180% | 155β180% |
500 EM caps his team buff: each point raises party Stellar-Conduct base damage by 0.028%, up to 14%. Each Beacon also gives Mitya 5% CRIT Rate (max 20%), so count that before choosing your Circlet.
Every team needs at least one Cryo character, because Stellar-Conduct requires Electro plus Cryo.
| Mode | Team | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| On-field | Mitya, Odette, Yae Miko, Valeriy | Valeriy’s shield protects Mitya’s stationary Charged Attacks |
| Off-field | Sandrone, Odette, Mitya, Yae Miko | Wriothesley or Cyno can replace Sandrone |
| F2P | Mitya, Fischl, Diona, Sucrose | Sucrose adds EM; Diona adds Cryo and a shield |
No shielder? Alyosha or Qiqi can fill the sustain slot, though Valeriy fits best.
On-field rotation: Yae Miko, Odette, Valeriy, then Mitya: hold Skill, cast Burst, and spam Charged Attacks. His Burst costs 60 Energy and instantly creates three Beacons.
Off-field rotation: tap Skill, cast Burst, then swap to your carry.
Talents: level Normal Attack, then Burst, then Skill on-field. Off-field, level Skill first.
C1 is the best early stop: it raises the Beacon cap to five, adds an extra Beacon per Skill, gives your active character 50% CRIT DMG, and refunds Energy. C2 adds 25% Cryo and Electro RES shred, plus 100 team EM (Stable Core) or 200 EM for your active character (Overloaded Core). C6 elevates party Stellar-Conduct damage by 20%. These are early-launch values and may be adjusted.
Both. Hold his Skill for on-field Charged Attacks, or tap it for an off-field core that keeps dealing Stellar-Conduct damage.
Aim for 500+ to cap his team buff, and 600β800 if he’s your on-field DPS.
Etherlight Spindlelute if you own it. Otherwise, craft Echoes of the Heart or use Sacrificial Fragments.
Yes. Cryo triggers Stellar-Conduct, which fuels his Beacons and team buffs.
If you already own Stellar-Conduct units like Odette or Sandrone, yes. He fits both roles, but he needs Cryo support. His banner runs November 4β24 alongside a Furina rerun.
