Maintenance lasts around five hours, and the update goes live on all servers at once. Everyone at Adventure Rank 5 or higher gets 300 Primogems by in-game mail, which works out to 60 per hour of downtime. I always spend my Resin before the servers shut down.
Preloading is already available. It’s about 8 GB on PC and 3 GB on mobile. I’d download it tonight so you can jump in at launch.
Archon Quest: The Nails of Retribution trigger the Holy Soil phenomenon, and the Tsaritsa summons all seven nations to Snezhnaya. Finishing the quest in time earns 560 Primogems and Ascension materials for Mitya. The Secret Tsarist Assignments also add a Snezhnaya-themed Wind Glider.
New area: Eastern Snezhnaya opens up with Novokitezhgrad, an underground city encased in Kresnik Kristall, and Wingspan Peak, home to Old Kitezhgrad.
New characters: Mitya is a 5★ Electro Catalyst user who turns Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct reactions. Valeriy is a 4★ Electro Sword shielder who boosts Electro damage.
| Phase | Dates | Featured |

| Phase 1 | November 4 – ~November 24 | Mitya (new), Furina (rerun), Valeriy (4★) |
| Phase 2 | ~November 24 – Dec 15 | Zibai and Linnea (reruns) |

Phase 1 also brings Mitya’s signature weapon, Starsealed Edict. Phase 2 dates come from banner trackers and aren’t official yet. Check Genshin Impact banners after launch for the confirmed schedule.
The main event unlocks through the Archon Quest or Quick Start. It rewards Primogems, materials and a free 4★ character of your choice. You also get a filming event in Snezhnaya, a Natlan mining challenge, and a masquerade lobby with a free 4★ cosmetic set in Miliastra Wonderland.
All three Special Program codes have expired. I’d skip any site still listing them as active.
