Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini season has shipped 13 brand-new pirate-themed Sprites, and I’ve dug up every one on Crossbones Isle since launch. Every new Sprite is below with its ability, rarity and fastest farm route. They drop from Sprite Chests, buried chests marked on Sprite Treasure Maps, and normal loot chests. Fortune variants are live now, Cursed variants are expected November 7, and Gold Sprites plus the Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite land November 12, 2026. Here’s the full list.
| Quick Facts | Details |
|---|---|
| New Sprites | 13 base, plus Fortune, Cursed and Gold variants |
| Where to find them | Sprite Chests, Wanted Poster Treasure Maps, loot chests |
| Variant rollout | Fortune live now; Cursed ~Nov 7; Gold Nov 12 |
| Season end | December 5, 2026 (Chapter 7 finale event) |
Sprites are small collectible companions that follow you around the island and grant one passive bonus, from faster reloads to shockwave landings. Every ability scales up as your Sprite levels through matches. A full Sprite Mastery track also pays you back for collecting, with Lucky Locators, Golden Fireworks, the Strongbox Back Bling and the Navigator’s Nosedive Umbrella.
There are two reliable routes:
Normal chests, wandering map Sprites and bosses like A$AP Rocky can also yield one, and killing or trading with players works too. Once looted, extract it at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor to bank it for good — skip that, and your killer takes it.
Here’s every base Sprite in Treasure Hunters with its rarity and ability. Rarity mostly controls drop odds, not power:
| Sprite | Rarity | Ability | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Halfpeel’d | Rare | Marks enemy eliminations on the map; range grows per level | Spotting third parties |
| Re-Pete | Rare | Faster reloads with a chance to refund ammo | Box fights |
| Barry O’Fish | Rare | Less stamina drain sprinting in water; Slap effect at max level | Rotations |
| Chester | Epic | Chance of extra loot from chests; blocks fall damage | Looting fast |
| Exmarks | Epic | Reveals Treasure Maps and Wanted Posters; spawns a map at max | Sprite hunting |
| Wayfinder | Rare | Reveals nearby Sprites; bonus loot from Buried Chests | Sprite hunting |
| Kelper | Epic | Restores health over time while you stand in water | Sustain |
| Sweet Dreams | Mythic | Grants a random item each level; bursts Mythic loot at max | Free inventory value |
| Lil’ Squibbly | Epic | Auto-fishes a hole when you jump in, with bonus loot | Early heals |
| Lil’ Flacko | Legendary | Landing creates a shockwave that knocks back enemies | Aggressive drops |
| Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. | Legendary | Chug Splash effect whenever your shields restore (Nov 12) | Squad healing |
| Plundarrgh | Mythic | Opening chests boosts pickaxe and movement speed | Fast rotations |
| Transponder Snail | Legendary | Extra resources on pickup; teammates running it benefit too | Materials |
| Variant | Bonus | Available |
|---|---|---|
| Fortune | Reveals nearby Chests | Live now |
| Cursed | Better rare-variant odds, but water damages you | ~Nov 7 |
| Gold | Bonus XP per elimination | Nov 12 |
Fortune is my pick — chest radar pays for itself. Cursed shares the Gum-Gum Fruit’s water-damage weakness, so avoid rivers, and don’t pair it with water-loving Barry O’Fish or Kelper.
There are 13 base Sprites, and 35 total once all Fortune and Cursed variants are enabled. Gold variants follow on November 12.
Cursed Sprites increase your chances of finding rare Sprite variants, but water deals damage to you while one is equipped.
No. Last season’s Sprites can’t be equipped here, though mastered ones work as decorative back bling styles.
Extract it at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor before dying, or it drops for your killer.
