The Murder Mystery 2 Halloween Event 2026 is live from November 18 until November 16, 2026, and it’s one of the biggest seasonal updates Nikilis has ever shipped β Nikilis himself confirmed the update is inspired by the classic Halloween 2015 event. This year, Coins are replaced by Candies, and the event stacks a 30-tier Halloween Pass, a Bingo board, daily quests, a loot box, and a Cauldron crafting system all at once. I’ve played daily since launch, and this guide breaks down exactly how I’m farming Candies fast, where I spend them first, and how to unlock every reward before the event ends.

Guide last checked: November 2026 β all Candy costs, drop rates, and Bingo rewards verified in-game.
Candies come from only two sources: ground pickups during rounds and daily quests. Grab every Candy you see regardless of your role β they spawn across every map, and surviving longer as Innocent means more pickups per round.
Daily quests are your real income. Three quests refresh daily, and they’re cumulative, so Candies collected for the 60 target also count toward the 120 and 200 goals:
| Daily Quest | Bonus Reward |
|---|---|
| Collect 60 Candies | 220 Candies |
| Collect 120 Candies | 110 Candies |
| Collect 200 Candies | 170 Candies |
Clear all three and you bank 500 bonus Candies daily β realistically 1,000+ per day with in-round pickups. Your role matters less than your route: I sprint the map’s outer loop each round as Innocent, grab Candies between Sheriff fights, and never camp one spot. Don’t skip days either, because the permanent event milestones track your daily completions:
| Milestone | Reward |
|---|---|
| Complete 15 Daily Quests | Hexed knife skin |
| Complete 30 Daily Quests | Pumpkin skin |
| Complete 45 Daily Quests | Ghostly (Rare) knife skin |
You need just 15 full days of dailies to claim the Ghostly skin, which is very doable inside the four-week window β but only if you log in consistently before the daily reset.
With four reward pools competing for your Candies, your spending order decides how much you walk away with.
Buy Halloween Pass tiers first. Tier 1 is free and every tier after costs 600 Candies β roughly 17,400 for the full track. Pass-exclusive skins like Ember and Darkwave (Legendary knives) can’t be unboxed anywhere else, and every odd tier from 3 to 27 hands you a free Halloween Key (13 total). The tier-30 reward is the Emberbow, an Ancient gun costing an extra 100,000 Candies, with a very rare chance of rolling the Chroma Emberbow β the first Chroma Ancient in MM2 history.
Open the Halloween Box ’26 second, once your Pass is on track. Each box costs 600 Candies or 1 Halloween Key:
| Rarity | Drop Rate | Items |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 70% | CandyCorn & Bombs (guns), Skulls & Bullets (knives) |
| Uncommon | 18% | Glow, Brew, Drool (knives) |
| Rare | 8% | Catseye, Raven (knives) |
| Legendary | 4% | Embergun |
| Godly | 0.2% | Embersickle |
| Chroma Godly | 0.004% | Chroma Embersickle |
At 0.2%, an Embersickle takes around 500 opens on average β about 300,000 Candies if you buy every box. That’s why you open boxes with free Pass Keys and save Candies for the Emberbow. For perspective: 167 box opens costs roughly the same as the Ancient itself.
If you’re trading instead, learn the pattern: box Godlies like the Embersickle usually trade high during event week, dip as thousands of boxes get opened, then recover once supply stops after 2026. Grind Ancients like the Emberscythe stay scarce because so few players finish the 100,000-Candy tier. Also note some event rewards reportedly require an ID-verified Roblox account, so check the claim prompt before assuming you’re eligible.
Bingo returns for the first time since the 2023 Easter event as a 3Γ3 challenge grid. Complete any full row or column to claim its reward, and clear the whole board for a bonus Cauldron:
| Line | Reward |
|---|---|
| Row 1 | Bats knife skin |
| Row 2 | Witches Brew knife skin |
| Row 3 | Jack knife skin |
| Column 1 | 2 Halloween Keys |
| Column 2 | Pumpkins knife skin |
| Column 3 | Flameburst knife skin |
| All rows + columns | Cauldron |
My priority: Column 1 first β those two Keys are worth 1,200 Candies in free box opens. Rows 1 and 2 complete themselves through normal play (Innocent wins, Sheriff kills). Row 3 is the real grind: 7 melee kills, 12 knife-throw kills, and a 6-kill round five separate times, so save it for sessions where you actually roll Murderer.
One trap I see constantly: the “Collect Candies” Bingo squares only count ground pickups β quest rewards and bought Candies don’t move that counter.
The Cauldron behind the event NPC is this event’s endgame: combine the Embersickle (box Godly) with the Emberbow (Pass Ancient) to craft Emberscythe, the first craftable Ancient since Season 1, with a low chance of a Chroma Emberscythe instead. Traders already call it the event’s rarest tradeable item β check our MM2 value list before trading yours.
Worth knowing too:
I’ve watched players waste entire event days on these:
November 16, 2026. After that, every event item β Emberbow, Emberscythe, Embersickle included β becomes trade-only, so spend your Candies before the deadline.
All three daily quests give 500 bonus Candies, and active players add several hundred more from ground pickups β 1,000+ per day is realistic.
Yes. Ember and Darkwave are Pass-exclusive, and the 13 free Keys effectively refund part of your investment. No other free path unlocks them.
Craft it in the Cauldron using an Embersickle (0.2% box drop) plus an Emberbow (Pass tier 30) before the event ends on November 16.
No event codes exist this year β rewards come from Candies, the Pass, the Box, and the leaderboard. Ignore “free godly code” videos, and watch our MM2 codes page for any future drops.
