To get the Boglin Branch rod in Fisch, complete the Youngster Goblin’s five-objective quest in Caustic Hallow during FischFright 3: finish 3 Goblin challenges on Normal difficulty or higher, hand over 10 Witch’s Ingredients, and collect a Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps, then claim your rod behind House 506.
This limited Halloween rod arrived with the FischFright 3 update on November 17, 2026, and I’ve been grinding the event since launch. The quest costs zero Treats β better yet, it pays you 800 Treats and 5,000 XP on turn-in. Here’s everything you need to unlock it before the event ends.
| Quick Facts | Details |
|---|---|
| Rod | Boglin Branch (Limited) |
| Quest giver | Youngster Goblin, behind House 506, Caustic Hallow |
| How to reach | Flying Dutchman ship at Moosewood dock |
| Objectives | 5 (3 Normal+ Goblins, 10 ingredients, 3 Boglin parts) |
| Rewards | Rod + 800 Treats + 5,000 XP |
| Availability | FischFright 3 only β end date not announced |
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Lure Speed | 80% |
| Luck | 180% |
| Control | 0.05 |
| Resilience | 20% |
| Max Kg | 550,000kg |
That 180% Luck is the headliner, but the passives make this rod a genuine money-printer. Every catch has a 25% chance to roll the Boglin mutation, which multiplies fish value by 6x. While reeling, a tree trunk trap drops onto the control bar every two seconds at a 25% chance, pinning fish in place for four seconds, and you get a 30% chance to strike for +30% progress. My favorite quirk: Goblins hand you a bonus Witch’s Ingredient 10% of the time.
It’s also the friendlier of FischFright 3’s two quest rods β the Doomsekkar punishes you with -666% Resilience, while the Boglin Branch stays balanced. It accepts normal enchant relics, so I’d slot Resilient to patch that weak 20% Resilience or Hasty to push lure speed past 100%.
Accept the “FischFright 2026: Youngster Goblin” quest and all five objectives pop into your tracker.
1. Complete 3 Goblin challenges (Normal or harder). Goblins spawn in groups of three every five minutes across 13 islands, with a server-wide announcement revealing where. Skip goblins outlined in green β Easy runs don’t count. Higher difficulties demand a better HEX level, so feed spare ingredients to Beatrix’s Cauldron to raise yours.
2. Hand over 10 Witch’s Ingredients. Any type works: Dirty Candy Corn, Strange Root, Crushed Bone, Spider Eye, Giant Mushroom, Raven Feather, Bat Wing, or Dark Art Skull. Goblin challenges drop them.
3. Obtain a Boglin Skull. 4. Obtain a Boglin Twig. 5. Obtain Boglin Wraps. All three are random Goblin challenge rewards, so expect several clears each β quest text sometimes calls the Twig a “Boglin Fang.” Don’t confuse the Boglin Skull with the Dark Art Skull used in Rituals; they’re different items.
Once every counter completes, return to the Youngster Goblin to claim the rod, your 800 Treats, and 5,000 XP.
Behind House 506 in Caustic Hallow, right by Beatrix’s Cauldron. Take the Flying Dutchman from Moosewood dock to reach the island.
Yes. With 180% Luck, a 6x Boglin mutation chance, and a fish-trapping trunk passive, it’s one of the best free mid-tier rods of 2026 β and far more forgiving than the Doomsekkar.
Yes, but only during FischFright 3. The rod is tagged “Only obtainable during FischFright 3,” and no end date has been announced, so unlock it soon.
