Table Of Contents
There are seven Firstlight weapon schematics in Slayers 2. They’re Mythic endgame weapons, and each needs a different method: underwater caves, a boss fight or a long NPC quest. I compared the latest guides, and the locations line up across them. Here’s where each one is.

1. Firstlight Insect Katana
Go to Mistfall Harbor, near the Insect Boss spawn.
Dive into the lake beneath the tree-trunk bridge.
Enter the small hole into the hidden cave.
Follow it to the schematic, encased in ice.
2. Firstlight Sound Cleavers
Bring an Emberheart Lantern, because the snow drains your health.
Enter the Iceveil Valley cave where the Reaper Trainer Kuzan mini-boss spawns.
Follow the left-hand paths behind it and cross the parkour section. Falling onto the spikes kills you.
Keep going until you reach Duelist Hibiki.
Talk to him, fight him and win to get the schematic.
3. Firstlight Katana and Spear
These two share one underwater maze in Iceveil Valley, so grab both in one trip.
Go to the Wind Trainer’s platform and dive in beneath it.
Find the statue and swim behind it into the maze.
Katana: go straight, then left, left, right, and turn left at the brown rock. Continue straight.
Spear: go straight and left, then turn right at the brown rock. Continue straight.
4. Firstlight War Fans
You’ll need level 100+, 9 Cooked Bear Meat, 25 Health Elixirs and a shovel.
Collect Raw Meat from Bear Cubs and Mama Bear, then have Lucy at Windy Peak cook it.
Buy 25 Health Elixirs from Alchemist Meku (50 Demon Horns + 8,750 Wen).
Give the meat and elixirs to Iceveil Guard Shiro’s cart.
Buy a shovel from Winter Store Rep Lynx for 1,000 Wen.
Talk to Shiori at Butterfly Estate and finish Dockmaster Sofen’s quests.
Ask Old Trapper Retsu about his lantern, then return to Lynx for the clue.
Dig the snow pile near the houses in Iceveil Settlement.
5. Firstlight Tanto
Unequip your lantern, then talk to Old Trapper Retsu and pay 2,500 Wen.
In the Kuzan cave, step on the glowing blue mushrooms to spawn the Mushroom Lit Lantern, and equip it.
Follow the blue footprints to a snow pile.
Dig it with your shovel and open the chest.
6. Firstlight Bladed Wagasa
Find the Firstlight Mask schematic behind the Tai Chi Trainer Suzume mini-boss in Hidden Mist Village. Craft the mask at Blacksmith Togane and equip it.
Get Fujiko’s Bladed Wagasa and upgrade it to Damascus.
Complete the Windy Peak boulder push, following the white arrows.
Talk to Wagasa Maker Genzo with the Damascus weapon in your inventory.
Crafting and Stats
Craft each weapon at Blacksmith Togane in Hidden Mist Village, using its schematic, the materials and the matching base weapon. One guide mentions Ouwland, so confirm the forge in-game.
All seven are Mythic with +4 damage and +5 max stamina. War Fans (9.15 block points) and Tanto (9) block best, and the Insect Katana adds 1.12x movement speed. The Bladed Wagasa gives Sun Immunity.
Tips
Do both Iceveil maze routes in one dive.
Keep a shovel for War Fans and Tanto.
Collecting all seven reportedly unlocks the Firstlight Top and Bottom schematics from Togane.
Seven: Insect Katana, Sound Cleavers, Katana, Spear, War Fans, Tanto and Bladed Wagasa.
Which is the hardest to get?
War Fans, because of its long supply questline.
Where do I craft Firstlight weapons?
At Blacksmith Togane in Hidden Mist Village, after you collect the schematic.
Which schematics are in the same place?
The Katana and Spear, both in the Iceveil Valley underwater maze.
