Update 14 Part 1 just landed as one of Anime Vanguards’ biggest drops yet, bringing a brand-new raid, a shapeshifting Rift boss, fresh Memoria, and three free codes. Here’s everything new, what to farm first, and how to grab your free rewards before they expire.
| Quick Info | Details |
|---|---|
| Release Date | July 5, 2026 |
| New Units | 3 (Reckless Gambler, Divine General, Cursed Lawyer) |
| Headline Content | Shibuya Station Raid, Divine General Rift |
| QoL Changes | 38 improvements, 169 bug fixes |
Update 14 adds three collectible units, each tied to a different game mode:
Each unit also has a Shiny variant for collectors. If you’re deciding where these fit into your roster, my Anime Vanguards Update 11 Guide covers the units from the previous major patch for comparison.
The headline addition is a 30-Wave Raid set inside Shibuya Station, featuring a unique High Roller card mechanic. During the raid, you’ll progress through four acts, pull random playing cards, combine them into stronger poker hands, and share cards with teammates for better rewards. Landing the right hand during the raid is how you unlock Reckless Gambler (Cursed).
Clearing the raid also earns Gambler Tokens, redeemable in the Raid Shop for Trait Rerolls, Memoria Shards, Rainbow Essence Stones, Corruption Crystals, Phoenix Shards, and Stat Chips — likely one of the best farming spots this update.
The other major addition is a new Rift boss, Divine General, who continuously adapts mid-fight. A single strategy won’t cut it here — switching team composition and adjusting your approach throughout the battle is the only way to clear it consistently. Completing the Rift is the sole way to obtain Divine General (Adaptation).
Six new Memoria arrived across different content: Gaze of the Strongest and My Brother! from the Raid Shop, Immortal Divine General from the Rift Shop, Royal Flush and By the Book from Evolution Rewards, and Restricted from the Heavens from Odyssey.
The Passive Composer system is also coming shortly after Part 1, letting players build custom passive abilities from scratch by combining triggers, conditions, targets, and effects — a genuinely new layer of build customization once it drops.
The Season 14 Battlepass launches soon after Part 1, headlined by the new Graceful Pilot reward alongside 500 Trait Rerolls and 500 Memoria Shards. New Vanguard Familiars — Chaso, Jag-o, Todu, Tuji, Dave, and Luce — are also available, though their passives may still see balance changes.
The main event this update is Extermination Event Part 1, where evolving newly released units earns exclusive rewards. Several recurring events run alongside it, including Evolution Madness, Odyssey Outrage, and Familial Folly, plus permanent events like The Strongest and The King’s Return that remain farmable.
Update 14 ships 38 QoL improvements and 169 bug fixes, including R15 avatar support, Auto Trait and Stat Chip rerolls, faster Sandbox menus, familiar search filters, and Memoria Trait History — genuinely useful changes for daily grinding.
Redeem these before they expire:
| Code | Rewards | Status |
|---|---|---|
| PowerOfLove | 50 Trait Rerolls, 50 Memoria Shards | Active |
| EEPart1 | 50 Gambler Tokens, 50 Trait Rerolls, 10,000 Gems | Active |
| BPSoon | 50 Memoria Shards, 50 Green Essence | Active |
Open the Codes menu in-game, enter each code exactly as shown, and claim your rewards instantly.
Reckless Gambler (Cursed), Divine General (Adaptation), and Cursed Lawyer (Tired), each tied to a different game mode.
Clear the new Shibuya Station Raid and land the correct poker hand combination during the High Roller mechanic.
It continuously adapts mid-battle, so you’ll need to switch team compositions and strategies throughout the fight rather than relying on one setup.
It’s coming shortly after Update 14 Part 1, letting players build fully custom passive abilities.
