Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 (Runners) launched on June 6, 2026 with the most dramatic mid-chapter map overhaul in the game’s history. Following the Shattered live event, the Zero Point cracked the sky and scrambled the entire Golden Coast island into a new one: Shattered Coast. Most old POIs are remixed into something new, with only Wonkeeland and Latte Landing surviving intact. Here’s every new POI, every changed location, and what’s worth dropping first.

|---|---|
| Season | Chapter 7 Season 3 (Runners) |
| Launch Date | June 6, 2026 |
| New Map Name | Shattered Coast |
| Old Map Name | Golden Coast |
| Survived POIs | Wonkeeland, Latte Landing |
| Removed POI | Dark Dominion |
| Trigger Event | The Shattered live event (June 5, 2026) |

Located at the southeast edge of Shattered Coast, Cluster Coast is fully themed around the Cluster skin from the Runners Battle Pass — giant rubber-duck building included. It’s one of the largest new named locations, with multiple tiered loot areas, a network of ziplines connecting the caldera to the coastline, and high loot density comparable to Tilted Towers. Expect it to be a hot drop every match.
A luxury estate built around a duck-shaped pond in the central plains, replacing the old farms area. The mansion has three floors, a basement vault, and an outdoor maze garden ideal for close-range fights. The basement contains a guaranteed Seven Cache spawn — making it a must-drop for loot. A new vehicle, the Quack Boat (a paddle boat with a mounted turret), is docked nearby for river rotations.
Dark Dominion has been replaced entirely by a tropical location with the Zero Point sitting exposed in the open at its center. This is the first time the Zero Point has been an accessible mid-map landmark. Historically it acts as an anomaly anchor, making this the most strategically significant POI for rotations. Expect heavy traffic here all season.
An industrial port POI featuring multiple high-rise buildings and a functional port, likely tied to the Runners storyline. It’s one of the confirmed new named locations from Epic’s official patch notes alongside Cluster Coast and The Zero Point.
Located in the northwest snowy mountains, this skiing-inspired POI features a massive zipline near the main building, adding verticality to combat. Great for players who prefer high-ground fights and winter-themed loot zones.
| Old POI | New POI | Change |
|---|---|---|
| Battlewood (urban city) | Battlewoods | Concrete jungle turned forested river town |
| New Sanctuary (desert) | Shaken Sanctuary | Moved to tropical paradise, lost its vault |
| Squibbly Shores | Sunken Shores | Major overhaul, new layout |
| Frigid Fortress area | Frosted Flats | Near the Zero Point, FrosDeez store retained |
| Wonkeeland | Wonkeeland | Survived — now in northeast instead of northwest |
| Latte Landing | Latte Landing | Survived roughly in the same location |
The map’s overall geography has shifted dramatically — biomes are repositioned, coastlines are different, and POIs that were close together in Season 2 may now be on opposite sides of the island.
| POI | Why Drop Here |
|---|---|
| Duck Mansion | Guaranteed Seven Cache in basement; Quack Boat for rotations |
| Cluster Coast | Highest loot density; ziplines for mobility |
| The Zero Point | High-traffic anomaly; best rotation hub on the map |
| Lifty Lodge | Low congestion; strong high-ground advantage |
Pro Tip: The eastern coastline (Cluster Coast side) is expected to see more endgame circles than the previous season. Plan rotations east early.
The new map is called Shattered Coast. It replaced the Golden Coast island after the Shattered live event on June 5, 2026.
Only Wonkeeland and Latte Landing carried over from the Season 2 map. Wonkeeland moved from northwest to northeast; Latte Landing stayed roughly in place.
Dark Dominion was replaced by a tropical POI with an exposed Zero Point at its center. It’s one of the most loot-dense and strategically important locations on the new map.
Duck Mansion is a new luxury estate POI in the central plains. It has a guaranteed Seven Cache in the basement, three floors, a maze garden, and access to the Quack Boat vehicle on the nearby river.
Battlewood was remixed into Battlewoods — the concrete urban landscape has been completely replaced by a forested town with a running river through it.
